I have to admit it's a bit weird to see that trying to give a proper review to a book (Harvey's Acquainted With Grief), could actually slow down my reading. I've slowed down on reading other things, just to keep from getting distracted and letting it slip from my mind. But it's happened anyway. I've had to re-skim the book to get back to all the points that made me want to review it thoroughly in the first place. And to do it justice.

Friends, it's uncommonly like work. No, seriously...

Not my current job, of course, but this review had made me work for it. I have my notes now, and can put it all together, but I feel a bit silly that I finished the book two? three? weeks ago and am just now going to give feedback on it. It's good for Harvey though: if it sucked, I wouldn't bother...
