After a conversation w/ piscis about my commenting on politics, I've rethought how I want to do this. Since I'm the kind of pretentious sonuvagun that can't resist getting my shots in on stuff, I think I'll experiment with saving up links and doing a summary wisecrack on a bunch of political stuff at once. Then I get it out of my system, and get to wait for things to develop (for things like the CapitolHillBlue story unfolding last week). Saves me having to make retractions, see?

Like the book reviews experiment, we'll see how it works out. Am a lot closer on the Harvey review; have about the first third or so of that done already. We'll see if I get it done between dinner and All-Star Game tonight...
