I sometimes live in a little bubble and forget that all of my readers probably don't read all the same journals I do. Eep! Well, for those of you who read Strange Horizons but haven't done so lately, right now they're winding up the second annual Reader's Choice Awards voting. Anyone can vote, as long as you have an email address.

Why do I mention this? Because my story, Famishing is something you can vote for, of course! If you liked it, and if you think it was one of the five best stories from last year at Strange Horizons, well, then you can vote for it! How cool is that? There's even money involved if I win. Not that I'm soliciting for votes, not really. If you didn't like my story, by all means vote for one you enjoyed more (though you can vote for up to five). But, I figure, people who read this journal might be favorably disposed towards my writing, so it can't hurt to encourage you to vote :-)

Oh, and voting closes this Sunday, February 29th, so if you want to vote and haven't yet, do it soon!
