Oh my god. I had SO much fun last night. I have the best friends. I have the hottest friends. I have the funnest friends ever. Seriously. Wow.

We started out at Asia SF where we had a private room off the dancefloor and really great food. We drank lots of lovely drinks. I got a lapdance/ show from a really hot Asian schoolgirl drag queen and when she pulled me up off my chair to dance with her, I got to show off how well I can dance. I'm told I looked very comfortable up there, and it was widely agreed to be the highlight of the evening.

But just barely.

Afterwards we eschewed the free passes to the other dance clubs and headed to the Hole in the Wall, which is a small gay bar where Richard used to work. We drank the extra-strong drinks they make there, danced when we felt like it (always to an appreciative audience; I love gay men) and mostly just hung around with each other. It was so much better than trying to shout over techno at some impersonal dance club, and it was awesome to see my friends from different parts of my life get to know each other and have fun together.

I definitely felt the love, and it was a perfect send-off/ bachelorette party. I was indulged, but didn't overindulge. Although I am very very tired today, I'm too excited, running over the wonderful, fun, beautiful night in my mind, to sleep. I can't wait to see the pictures.

I just wish I could do it again.
