I am most pleased that so many of you took my little quiz! I feel as though I should elaborate on the answers, but if you've had enough please feel free to skip this entry. Also, if you haven't taken the quiz yet, you might want to before reading this entry (and please don't take it once you have).

I'll go in order, so:

1) Let's start with an easy one. What's my middle name?

b) Lynn

Pretty straightforward. I picked bland alternate choices on purpose, though "Lynnette" is my sister, Holly's middle name.

2) When I was a toddler I...

c) All of the above.

Yep, when I was little I used to wander around the neighborhood and talk to people. I guess I also went to my friend (I believe her name was Danielle)'s house, but I definitely remember wandering into some family's garage and chattering with them while they fixed their car. I don't do this so much anymore.

Oh, and I also was in the hospital, though according to Mom in the comments of the last entry, it wasn't weeks at a time like I remembered. I remember the ice baths, though, and the neat wooden puzzles they let me take home from the playroom.

3) How many times did I win the cat knowlegde contest in 4-H cat shows?

b) Twice.

Poor Mom got this wrong because she thought I meant the cat competition, where I never did win and I AM still bitter about it (so those of you who chose d) I never won, and I'm still bitter about it. can feel partially right, I guess). This was the cat knowledge contest part of the cat show, and you could only win twice: once in the junior division and once in the senior division. I won junior my first year, so I got to go to the senior division at a younger age, and won the first time out there as well. There was also a cat cage decoration contest, and that was pretty fun and crazy as well. I always did elaborate sets (Taffy in his candy shop, Grey Lady on blue satin pillows with a vanity) and the year I won was for "color coordination" -- I did an Indy 500 theme (this was in Indianapolis, mind) with my black-and-white cat, Mittens.

I was pretty serious about cats.

4) What was my favorite form of dance at age 8?

c) Ballet.

So many of you thought tap! But, no, I wanted to be a pretty pretty flowery ballerina! I was *such* a girly-girl. I only got sassy later :-) But too much tap made my head hurt (yet somehow I didn't mind the pointe shoes...)

5) What were the majors I tried at one time or another in college?

d) French, Psychology, Sociology and English.

This was a hard one. I threw Theatre into the other choices because it makes sense, and I was a theatre minor, but never major. I love the stage, but knew it would never be my life career. Alas.

I miss it alot sometimes.

6) I was tested for IQ in school. Yes, IQ tests are famous for not being that great an indicator of intelligence, but what was my score?

c) 145

Not much to say about this on its own, but combined with the next one...

7) Let's take this to a different level. What's my bra cup size?

c) B

Ok. Most of you thought that my cup size is bigger than it is and that my IQ was lower. Hrm.

Seriously, I feel like this is a trick question. Because, (honestly, Haddayr, I SWEAR), I AM a B cup, but I knew people would guess wrong. Why? Because I don't *act* like I have a B cup. I wear cute, somewhat tight tops that are occasionally low cut. I stand with my shoulders back most of the time (ballet class, yo), and don't hide everything in baggy clothing. So, I really work with what I've got and give the illusion of more (apparently much more than I realized -- D cup?! I'm closer to a C than an A, sure, but nowhere near a D. Sorry!).

8) How many of my ex-boyfriends were at my wedding?

c) Three.

I was pleased there were so many people at my wedding that meant so much to me, but it was especially friendly to have Todd, Ian and David there.

9) How many siblings do I have?

a) Three older half-siblings and one younger full sister.

My dad was married before he married my Mom, and I have three older half-siblings: Michael, Kathy and Barbara, as well as my younger sister, Holly. Ever since Holly had Aleister, everyone thinks she's older, but I've actually got 3-1/2 years on her. My oldest half-sibling, Michael, is 20 years older than me, but he and I get along really well when we hang out or talk on the phone. We also have a couple of eerily similar facial expressions that we obviously get from Dad.

10) Which science fiction award would I most like to win?

d) Tiptree

When I first told Tim this, years ago, he said, "Good girl, go for the one with a cash prize." Heh. Of course, it's more than that. I would like to write the kind of fiction that would win the Tiptree. Not that I would turn down any of the others... except maybe the coveted Balrog Award.
