Shit shit shit. I am very sick today, with a sore throat from hell, a bad cough, aches and pains and no voice. It started Saturday night after I got home from WonderCon, and I was hoping at the time it was just me being tired and hoarse from walking around and talking in the stale air and general din of the Moscone West convention center. But no. I'm sick. My beautiful Sunday was spent being sick and now I'm home sick from work on Monday.

The worst part, though, is that I have not one, but two readings for Homewrecker this week. Argh! I LOVE doing readings and I hardly EVER get to do them, and here I get two in one week and I lose my voice? NOT FAIR! Waaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Even if I get my voice back in time to do them (the first one is tomorrow night at City Lights, which is soooo cool I can't stand it), there's no way I can practice enough to sound as polished as I'd like.

Meh.
