A REENIE DAY

I took care of Mischa & Benny (Purrs & Wags clients) today, won $25 on a lottery scratcher, received my boarding pass for the 10-day Caribbean cruise I'm taking in November, got 5 inches of hair whacked off, I screened a phone call from the fuckface that grabbed me in my very own garage a few weeks ago and acts as though we're still best friends (gah), I visited the University to talk to someone about 2009 and support for the Music Festival and The School of Theology, I had my eyebrows waxed because I am too *blind* to do it myself, I prepared for a 2-day retreat at St. Mary's (a women's retreat that I'm jazzed about), I went to the Piggly Wiggly to buy some goodies to put in a gift basket when my son and his wife arrive, I hired someone to housekeep twice each month because I can, I'm preparing for my grandson to visit next weekend while his parents enjoy Sewanee's Homecoming, I had a bowl of string beans, followed by a bowl of Cheerios for dinner because I can eat whatever I damn well please, I have some bills to pay and then I will workout in my gym for about 45 minutes later this evening while I make my daily phone call to my mother. It's been a good day. Hope yours was too. xoxo
