2008-11-10 8:55 PM *Waving* to Stace Hey Folks!
I let everyone know, so I thought, that I was traveling to California for four days to visit my dear, dear mother. In my absence a flurry of excitement spanned a breathtaking breadth from The Mountain to Tucson, AZ. While away, a gentle panic ensued with classic misunderstandings and embellishments that so often happen in small towns. The Mountain, which in my case includes Monteagle & Sewanee, is especially tight and protective of its citizens. My dear cousin-in-law-twice-removed-by-marriage-and-several-divorces, Stace, spent four years on The Mountain (you did graduate in four years, right?) and that must be the explanation for the keystone cops ensemble that unfolded in my absence… The Mountain tenets of neighborly protection-type behavior musta rubbed off during his tenure. Or he's just a great guy, which he is. :) Stace wasn’t the only one trying to track me down. At the end of the clichéd day, I’m one lucky woman to have so many people looking out for me. *Smoochy Kisses* to all. Anyhoo, I’ve got a post in the makings, which will better clarify the garble of this post. I need to go unpack. Lordy, Lordy… I am so glad to be home. Oh, and welcome aboard Cathy! Oh, and I will remind everyone as the time nears, but I take sail for the Caribbean in a week or so and will be gone for 11 days or so. xoxo Read/Post Comments (9) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
