It was cold as balls today out. Deleriously cold, especially given the fact that it was April 23th. So my family and I parked on the 5th floor of a parking garage to go to dinner somewhere in Evanston. We go back to the garage and, not wanting to wait in the cold for another elevator to come, we squeeze our way into a full elevator, greeted by many a grimace from the other people in there.

So while selecting floor 5 in the elevator, we notice that the elevator is to stop on every floor on the way up. That means on every stop, the four of us have to get completely out of the elevator to let the people behind us out. Maybe we were just tired because we found it fairly funny that every time the elevator stopped on a floor, the 4 of us would shuffle (it looked more like waddling because it was so cold and windy) out of the elevator and quickly shuffle back in once the people had gotten out. This one time, we all got out of the elevator for one guy who needed to get out! Nobody else in the elevator seemed to find it funny. In fact, they actually looked annoyed at us. Well fuck them. It was hilarious. And fuck you if you don't find it funny either. I'm laughing.
