There are certain films, that while not always great films are perfect for me at a particular moment in time, and the situation my life was in, and I'll always have a love for them that will go beyond any real reason.

I think the last film that fits "perfect" was Lost in Translation, which has its flaws, and isn't for everyone, but for me, reached a deep place few films do, and just seemed like a perfect moment in time captured on film.

I can't predict what the next film will be, but I was thinking about it today, as I watched another great film which was very close Pirates of the Carribean, wondering when the next Lost in Translation would be for me.
