Don't ever become so obsessed with something so much that you can't give it up.

Worse, don't ever become so obsessed with someone you can't give them up.

Obsessions, like regrets, tear apart your soul and take you to dark places you don't want to be. They constrict your life to a tiny, sad point you can't see past, and send you into a deep spiral.

As obvious as this is, and as much as you know to avoid it, obsessions sneak back on you, waiting for a weak moment to entangle, dragging you down again.

And the worst ones are mental.
