Wariness of others might be natural.
Hate is taught. In the eyes of a child, there's not black people and white people, and yellows and browns. There's just people. You have to live in an environment where prejudice flourishes to learn bigotry. Children deserve a lot of things, and one of them is to grow up without intolerance imprinted on them. Only when hatred is not passed down from parent to child will the injustices of the world truely be fixed.
