I've been watching Penn & Teller's "Bullshit" between feedings.

While it's a great show when exposing paranormal frauds, the truth about fad diets, and a host of scams, when it comes to more political based issues, it shows the political bent of the hosts, and sacrifices a more balanced view of complicated issue in favor of their biases.

Which is too bad because the show is so entertaining otherwise.

For a show that purports to be a skeptical view of topics exposing the lack of science behind issues, I think you need to keep your politics out of it if you want to keep your credibility. And I call bullshit on hiding that bias in the show, which I think they do.

For example, in an episode on organic foods, essentially they say if you're for it, your against GM foods, and you're for letting the third-world starve and are racist. The quote was, "unless you've been starving, shut the fuck up."

And while it's funny to interview some really extremist raw food movement people with their spiritual views, that particular sentiment is painting a rather wide brush upon a ton of people.

You can be against corporations patenting seeds so that no one else can use them, and that farmers can't even save them from crops to use again, and still be for feeding the third world.

You can be for organic foods, which frankly on the whole taste better, and not be racist.

You can have a healthy concern about the testing of GM foods, and how they're regulated, and not be someone who thinks all you should eat is raw foods.

Now I know the Libertarian bent of Penn & Teller. Which is fine. Until you stick it in your TV show while passing yourself of as a rational, unbiased look at issues.

Exposing psychics a frauds. Funny.

Proporting to be neutral on policital issue when your not. Not funny.
