Have made only a handful of trips outside since being home with infant.

But, bills must be paid, so I'm heading back to work part-time for a few weeks, then full time during the new year.

I'll fully admit, work is a break from feeding all day. It's quite a relief.

We hoped to get out at least a few time during my stay home. I hoped to get the stroller out and maybe go to the park, trade off with the stroller while one of us hit a museum or something, but none of that happened.

It just became a blur of diaper changes, feeding, crying and sleeping. Parents experiencing everything except the diaper changes.

Only this week has anything settled to the point where I can spend any amount of time on the computer, or watch a movie in more than 15 minute increments.

Which is why it was so nice to have a friend sit for a few hours and see King Kong this week.

The movie was about an hour and a half too long, but it was enjoyable, and even if it was terrible, I would have enjoyed it just to get out.
