I'm not big on making New Year's resolutions, and bigger on blowing them if I do make them.

But I do find it interesting to read other people's resolutions when they blog about them. It's refreshing to see so many resolutions to make the world a bit better by volunteering, or spend more time with family, rather than, make more cash, or even lose a few pounds, and reminds me that people do still have lofty, nobile goals on occasion.

Even if they don't make them, at least there's a period during the year where we remind ourselves to try.

Everyone needs some points in life to kinda reset and give yourself a push to go in a new, better direction. New Year's Eve seems as good a time as any to do that.

It's good to read people doing that, even if I don't have any specifics myself right now.
