2008-01-01 6:12 PM Quiet Time First off, Happy 2008. Hope your New Year's celebration went better than the one at the Space Needle here in Seattle last night. Let's just hope that it's not an omen . . .
Sorry I haven't been making much of an appearance here lately, but I've had a few things taking up a lot of my time and I don't see that changing much in the immediate future. I just wanted you all to know that I'm okay, alive and trying to get through the day-to-day. Writing hasn't been giving much joy lately, so I'm not doing it. When and if the joy returns, so will the writing. If it doesn't, it doesn't. My 2008 resolution? Follow my joy, no matter where it takes me. And no, I'm not going into any more detail than that. It's my joy; I'll share it when and if I feel like it. Right now, it's too fragile to let see the light of day, so hidden it stays. Talk soon. Joseph Haines, signing off from The Edge of the Abyss.
