What a week! I had to drag my flu-ravaged butt into San Francisco all five days to attend a Java class, and although I really enjoyed the class, it took a lot out of me.

Another guy's weekend. Taekwondo and pizza on Friday. Ben had a friend over on Saturday and we watched HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE and ate chocolate chip cookies. Sunday, Ben had a practice game, but it started hailing two innings in. I also stayed up late and searched around the internet and found a lot of old music to download. Mostly late 1980's metal stuff. Great stuff!

Tonight I had writer's group, and it was really great. I brought Ben and he and Jenny's daughter got along well. Jenny and I read each other's stories. We are both really growing as writers, and I'm happy we met for group tonight. Not only did I get to read a really good chapter of Jenny's, but I got some feedback that I believe will propel me forward.

However...

I am still struggling. I have written a few scenes, but I am bothered by the fact that these new scenes require changes to prior chapters, and I really need to resolve some of them. I can also see a lot of things I left out and need to add. So I am sad to say that a revamping is needed, but the good news is that I am moving forward.

And I am almost over the flu/sinus infection/tickly throat. Which is good, because I have to go to San Francisco tomorrow to work.
