Hot on the heels of the inspiration of last night's writer group meeting (Thanks again, Jenny), I went to Barnes and Noble in Dublin tonight and cranked out a really good, really deep scene that I've been aching to write. I still don't have all my ducks in a row. There are things that need to happen, and things AJ (my sleuth) needs to know before this scene happens, and I need to go back and revise those points in.

The good thing is that I know where I want to put them. It's just a matter of finding the time to get them in there. Tomorrow, during lunch, I should have some time.

I actually wrote one scene tonight, and resurrected another scene. Last night, before writer's group, I took it out, because it seemed to be going no place. But tonight I figured out how to make it work. And I wrote it back in. Then I wrote my deep scene.

I'm back on a roll. I have a page of notes that tell me where I am going next. Things are looking up. Hoo-Hah!
