Well, my Jacuzzi bit the big one. Just finished cleaning it out and adding fresh water. I let it run on the heating cycle and went to do other work. I came back about an hour later and the gfci outlet is tripped. Now occionally it wiil randomly trip from vibrations and such. I could be that lucky. I tried resetting it and it trips again. So I pull the side off and open the electronics. Toast. Big, ugly black scorch. Components fried. Crispy. So was the critter that caused it. A field mouse somehow got into it and shorted the high voltage. Fried himself and everything else. Crispy critter. (Almost sounds like a cereal) 8>O
So, looks like I will be without it for a while. At least until I raise about $600 or so to replace it. Whole new circuit board. Can't even just replace components. Board is completely cooked. Maybe I'll just get a new one somehow. Don't think I can do without. I know, I'm spoiled. What can I say. It gets rid of all aches and pains from playing Spidey all day on those towers. I'll have to ask ole Petey boy how he does it.
