I was listening to songs that talk about high school and graduation and leaving your friends. It made me sad. I remember I was so ready to get the hell out of high school and start my life. Which is kinda funny cause now I am ready to get the hell out of college and start my life. Am I ever going to "start it?" Or is it going to be a series of waiting and anticipating the next move and then missing what I had when I finally get to move on? I think high school was the most fun I ever had. I got to do whatever I wanted, I always had money, (I don't know how, and if I ever figure it out I'm gonna start doing it again!), and I had a car. Now I don't have time to do anything fun, the fun stuff I do get to do isn't as good as I remember it being, I NEVER have money, and I do not have a car, (thank you embankment and trees). How when I was 17 I had everything together and now that I'm 21 I seem to have nothing together? Aren't you supposed to get better as you get older?

I had so much fun in high school. Running with Friend, my PR at districts, running with stalks of corn (yes we are country), diving INTO the corn, the flare, "meditation time," Wes's pep talks, the lake run and going through the river, carrying Jen out of the woods, Fun runs and apple wars in cross country, hiding from Coach in track, mock trial is a whole category of its own from Luke dropping his pants on command, hide and seek in the library, stapling gum to the ceiling in the library, "When I think about you, I touch myself," yearbook is also a category of its own with Mrs. Lentz and Miss Emmette and her friend Bob, "No, move back, I can't see you," playing FBI with Kristyn in the halls (I still have my badge), "You are the creamiest of the cream," Goddess Jessie, walking through the halls taking pictures, almost dying on the football field trying to take pictures, pica nazi, and all my friends who I can't even begin to list who are so special to me. Jenna stuffing food in my mouth, Meghan "Catch me!" Adam and Bill and eating ice cream at their house, going camping with Bill, Going the the movies with Adam, going to Florida with Ashley and throwing gummi worms into the car in front of us, Lindsay's party and running down the road in a tshirt "They can't see me!" the ski trips, smiley faces with Stacey, notebooks with Jen C, eating lunch with my seniors, going to Monroe Hotel with Billy, Heath, and Tim, sled riding with Tim, Clayton, Jen, and Friend, music theater Renee, Travis, Jessie and me, Randy and Monty Python, all my girls in track, partying with Katie "Gildon" and the party horse, riding in the car with Jessi, parking with Tina and washing boards with Tina and Meghan, peanut butter on the wall of the cafeteria for a year and a half, Tupac and Cherrios, stealing Meghan's cookie, surprise parties for Meg, Linsey, and Jenna, Friend's surprise party that wasn't, jumping out of a box for Jenna, 8th grade science with Cody and Ricky, Billy Richey scaring me to death by pulling the ebrake in the pouring rain, the Campbell boys (thats really all I need to say there), Zack freaking out over a spider, Eat N Park with Jolienne and Rachel "This is a picture of me when I was fat," not being allowed to play hockey with the girls, fighting for lunch tables, making tapes for classes (I still have them around!!), making videos for 'Teau TV, prom junior and the limo driver hiting Jesse and senior year "No stop lighting the table on fire!" my brothers and the gun behind Ron, rolling hay onto the road with my Coz, Ocean City "Why is there meat in my ice cream?" Trevor and Dan and "Kick the Possom," "Knock, knock." Leaving to get banana popcicles and the superintendant talking to us when we came back with arms full of food, breaking Wiggy's car, Xfest my first year and losing my shoe and getting dropped on my head, Blink 182 concert and taking the blow up doll off someone's car at Eat N Park, Aerosmith and the thunderstorm and Jessie's broke shoulder, Bon Jovi, OzzFest and Justin driving off the road and passing the blowup doll back and forth, Shannon trying to teach me no gag reflex with bananas, wrecking a shopping cart "I can't get up!" "Wait stay there and let me get my camera!" Shannon driving the truck and me climbing around to the front, Jessie and sign stealing with green beans, sign stealing with Amanda, John, Brandy, and Kristen, Brandy and "chocolate makes the pain go away," trying to sneak into a rated R movie and having to watch Disney's Dinosaur instead, trying to steal the wooden post repeatedly with Friend, football games and the Hill, bowling for people, Brittany and her Nub, Brittany getting a string stuck in her teeth and me getting it out, hitting Friend with my car "Mark one up," piling 8-10 people in my car to go to Annadale, "No I cannot see over the stearing wheel!" BFE with Friend and throwing lemonade into some guys car, climbing into the back with Friend stearing waving at people, Friend "helping" my self esteem, my birthday parties and jumping in the pond in November, rolling Matt down into the pond in a barrel, pushing people into the pond in a shopping cart, the Campbell boys and John skinny dipping in my pond "There are naked boys in this picture!" Halloween with Billy and Josh and Neen "You gotta see what these girls are doing!" Halloween with Ashley, Tina, Austin, Crystal, Meghan, Bill, Bill, Adam, and me and Crystal showing the whole town my ass "Don't say anything, but Damn!" Halloween at Robert's in the angel costume, Eat N Park with Billy, NYC senior trip and singing on the way to the hotel, Jason and the Campbell boys amazing knocking on doors tactics, Jessie rolling off Shannon's car and breaking her shoulder, hitting the Cubbage's car every day, Cody covering my car in mud, Mike Deal (again this is all that needs said) Shannon, Katie and I Christmas shopping and our drinking "glasses," Mrs. Ball's class and sitting with Ryan, Trevor, and Austin, V-Wads with staples, the dictionaries on the lights, "Is someone smoking in the bathroom?" Austin taking care of me after Ricky, Ricky always taking care of me, Louis and his necklace he made for me, my locker is a food cupboard, stealing napkins and straws, "If you can give me a good reason for having 47 straws you can keep them" "Karen doesn't have a house and we are using the straws to build her one" Alan and Kayla in art, and newspaper -thanks for the spaghetti, breaking the bowling blocker after Spring Fling, Hey Ron I still have your ID, Jared and the Fair, Friend and the Fair, the blue sunglasses guy, "I'm not allowed to have friends" doing nothing with Friend, Wayne's World and Bohemian Rapsity with Friend, coming to ALF for the first time with Jessie, Sarah, and V, my mom yelling at the attendance lady, Cody R and my green teddy bear and my Ozzy tape, me flipping out over the juice bottle, biology and Travis U putting a nickel in the cat's nose, me copying Travis M's notes and always doing better, harassing Travis M at our lockers, Gabe's poem's, Becca getting me through French "You told me I could do whatever I wanted as long as I was quiet!", our heater in the morning, coming in late everyday my senior year, teaching Meghan, Billy, Travis U how to ride a motorcycle, Stacey T's parties for her birthday and New Year's and the emu's, Slippery Rock camp with Mike G, Christmas dance with Mike C, Spring Fling with Luke and taking the Star, video taping from the roof, hanging out with Andy, Billy calling me Meghan for 2 months (I still answer to the name Meghan), parties at Linsey's Grandma's restaraunt and at Linsey's house, pixie sticks and scary movies, bouncing each other into the air with air mattresses, running in hail for the Slippery Rock scrimmage for track, getting lost at Keystone in Cross Country, the senior bench, playing hide and seek in the field in cross country, the boys and their "village," and so many other things that I can't even name.

I miss high school and all of my friends that I hardly ever see or those I never see. I love all of you and I hold these memories and many others close to my heart.
