This is my experience.

In my last class my proffesor stressed that there is limited space in New York City. Buildings are often tore down and replaced, parking lots never stay parking lots. Space is highly wanted, and comes at a high price because there often is not much of it. Many people are already put together into small spaces close together.

This brings me to my story. When I first came into my room in the dorm I was upset. It is TINY. I know dorm rooms aren't big, but I had no idea how I could live here with my stuff let alone with someone else's stuff too! I am a petite girl, I am barely five foot two with shoes on. I am a little over a hundred pounds. I'm little. And I had to turn SIDEWAYS to get into my room! This isn't even the story. The story is, there is a closet that is in the way of the door that I have to maneover around to get into my room. I have nipple rings. When I get out of the shower, these would clank! off the closet and scare the hell out of me (thinking that they would get ripped out). Nothing tragic has come of this, but this is a powerful lesson and a great New York experience that I will not forget.

There is only so much room in New York. Be ready to protect your nipple rings.
