I was wondering how to send items to victims of Katrina and I received this on one of the moms email lists I'm on. In case anyone else is interested in sending actual goods instead of/in addition to giving money to organizations, here's the info.

If you would like to send anything to the Houston
Astrodome/Arena/Reliant Center for the refugees, here is the NEW address.

They have set up a zip code just for the Astrodome/Arena/Reliant Center so that people can get donated items.

You can send it addressed (general delvery) or to a specific person if you know they are there, or you can address it to a group of people:

* Refugee Babies/Children
* Refugee School age Children
* Refugee Elderly
(includes diabetic testing supplies, vitamins, adult nutritional supplement, depends, canes, walkers, etc)
