Monday morning, Marc begged for me to come pick him up after kindergarten and bring him home instead of going to day care. So, after I established that he understood that I'd still be working at home, I agreed. Unfortunately, I realized after he'd gone to school that his dentist appointment was Monday afternoon so he was already coming home that day, but wasn't going to get to spend it playing.

So, yesterday, I let him come home after kindergarten. He spent the afternoon playing games and drawing. After the mail came, he got the idea that he wanted to mail his drawings to someone. As he drew pictures, I let him run over and put them in our neighbor's mail box. I only suggested that he write his name on them so she knew who they were from.

When she got home last night, she brought them over because she thought someone had put them in her mail box for him by mistake. When he told her that they were for her, she was so touched. :) I'm so proud of my sweet, thoughtful boy. :)
