Yesterday was opening day of little league. It was a long day starting with Alex's mommy & me swim class, then a parade (I missed the parade because of the swim class), opening ceremonies, lunch from the Tommy's truck, then playing on the playground before the game and finally, The Big Game. :)

Marcelo had already gotten himself his father's day present which was a Dodger's jersey with Lasorda on the back (because Marcelo is the team manager of the Dodgers t-ball team and he's a dork ;) And guess who the league got as a surprise guest speaker for opening ceremonies? Tommy Lasorda! Marcelo was on cloud 9. And he got his jersey signed.

The game was fun. Marc had a huge cheering section - he had us, 4 grandparents, 5 aunts and uncles, and 2 of his day care teachers cheering him on.

Our next game is tomorrow and this time I'll remember to bring the sun block!
