Plumbing

I guess it really pays to know a plumber.

A little history... last summer, our neighbor was in the process of selling her condo. She knocks on our door to tell us that she'd sold it, but as part of the sale, she has to fix a leak in the garage. So a plumber opened it up and discovered that the problem is - our water heater! *sigh* So we had to buy a new water heater and have it installed.

So last week, our new neighbor knocks on our door. They have a leak in their garage. And it's coming from our water heater.

We called the plumber back and in the few days it took for our appointment, water started oozing out from under the kitchen sink.

Anyway, the water heater was just a loose fitting which he easily fixed. But he might have to jackhammer the floor in the kitchen or go through the wall. But at least he's charging us a more than fair rate.

Plumbing problems always make me nervous.
