So here's the word count for the novel I am attempting:
Why am I posting this? I guess as a way of keeping track of how fast I am writing, and as a kind of incentive to finish. I've never finished a novel before, and I think that's my personal goal for this year.
I'll still be writing short stories, but I think I will use this gift of stay-at-home mom time (next year when Maika starts preschool I will start working again) as a novel-writing time. We'll see.
