I joined yet another writing challenge through Wordos. It's a superhero-themed challenge this time. I am going to work on 2000 words a week. That's pretty major for me as I was just barely doing 1400 a week on the pirate challenge last month.

Anyway, I was just thinking about the fact that I am juggling quite a lot of little bits in the air right now. I haven't had this much going on since...um...since like...I guess college! None of it is like major major stuff, but it's just important enough that I want to keep it all in the air and have it not fall down.

Last year at this time I had just moved to Portland and was trying to buy furniture. The year before that I was in Tokyo with a new baby and feeling lonely and isolated.

Let me just say, I am not feeling isolated right now. In fact, the introverted core of me is whimpering in fear at our schedule for August.

But if there's one thing I think I excel at, that's following through on things and getting them done. If I wasn't Major Multitasker, I might be tempted to call myself The Finisher.

Unless it has to do with phone calls or reading directions or car-related maintenance or repairs.
