No, it's not a typo, it's just what girl1 thought we were going to see today when I told her we were going to ride on Portland's Aerial Tram. But nope, no princesses were evident.

Weekends in February are free for the tram, after this it's 4 dollars a pop. So grandma and I dragged the girls downtown. It was crowded, but as each cabin can hold quite a lot of people the lines moved fast.

There's a little swingy bit as you go over the tower, but other than that it's pretty fun. And the view....well, my mom forgave me for making her move here from California today. :)

And who knew that OHSU had pretty gardens on their terrace with awesome sculptures? It was worth the trip just to see the man-sized rabbit holding a sick greyhound.
