2001-06-23 12:00 PM Trip to MD: The First Wedding Today was the first wedding during our vacation in Maryland. Jenn's friend's John and Elisa had a beautiful non-religious wedding ceremony in Cloister's Castle
Before and after the wedding I met just about all of Jenn's friends on the East Coast. I don't have time to write about everyone, but here are some highlights: Rick and Audrey, whom you should already know if you read my last entry, continued to be very nice to me. Audrey went out of her way several times to make sure I was included in conversation, so I didn't feel like an outsider. I really appreciate that. Dawn and John, are a couple of Jenn's friends that were also very nice to me. John joked around with me several times, which made me feel very comfortable. Both Dawn and John seem very intelligent and sincere. Those are execellent qualities. :) Paula, who sat next to me at our table was very fun to talk to about all sorts of topics, which included: California, Maryland, PhDs and Proffessorship, Earthquakes vs. Tornados, and Jehovah's Witnesses. I met many more people, but don't have time to go into detail about everyone, so please don't be offended. After the wedding, we spent some time with the bride and groom, talking and relaxing. It was a lot of fun, they seem very happy together. :) I had a lot of fun at, and after, the wedding, but boy was I tired! I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
