Just got back from lunch, it is as I expected. My boss said to start looking and he'd give me time off to interview.
Jenn and I have been talking about the contingencies if I get laid off, and we may have to live thinly, but we'll get through.
She's good about helping me look at the good things, like if I get laid off, even though my day will have job searching in it, I'll be able to spend more time working on the things I really love: JournalScape, Hwa Rang Do ®, Secret Project S, learning Korean, etc.
I got my brown sash on Monday night and Do Joo Nim said something that kind struck me as unlikely yet very attractive.
Next year, I'm taking a trip with my school to Korea where we will sight-see and train with Do Joo Nim up in the mountains. As he was giving me the brown sash, he said to the class, "Kenny is now brown sash, hopefully next year in Korea he will test for black sash."

I think that time schedule is agressive... but dude... how frickin' cool would it be to test on a mountain in Korea for my 1st degree black sash.... damn.
