The Mandatory Reflections
Highest Points of the Year... Jenn. Marrying her, living with her, being with her. All of the myriad of things we did with Ken and Shelley. Doing a LOT of work on JournalScape... it makes people happy and that makes me happy. Watching The Lord of the Rings (Fellowship on DVD many times and Towers in the theatre on opening night).
Fun memories I found in my 2002 journal archive...
Playing Silent Hill 2 with Jenn and Nancy.. all bundled up in the dark on the couch with the surround sound turned up... making sure to keep your feet on the couch, because everyone knows the monsters are under the couch.

Playing Final Fantasy X with Jenn. :)
Snow boarding for the first time on my honeymoon in Lake Tahoe.
Getting acupuncture for the first time.. after damaging a nerve in my back... youch!
Beginning to learn Korean (FAR to go!) and Hangul.
Getting my Blue and then Brown Sash.
Losing my job... getting another, better one.
There's a lot of stuff I'm leaving out obviously... but to sum up.
Highs and lows this year. Mostly highs. That's the way I like it. :)
