Google Day 2: Wonderful... Unwanted Food

Google HQ has an entire cooking staff with a kick ass chef and they prepare a list of kicking food everyday, cooked and served fresh to the Googlers.

My problem is... they keep serving amazingly well prepared and tasty food... that I don't like. *sigh* :)

Here's just the entrees from Monday and Tuesday:

Monday was Cous Cous and Veal... *sigh* I don't eat Veal and Cous Cous really isn't at the top of my yummy list. I had the Cous Cous anyway, it was ok, but I was just really hoping to be blown away.

Today (I have the full menu description for today, I'll try to post them for the rest of the week too):

Grilled Pacific Swordfish ~ Piccata pacific swordfish cooked to a juicy perfection served w/ a Brown Butter Lemon Caper Sauce

Seitan Curry..vegan ~ braised organic seitan w/ coconut milk, turmeric, ginger, garlic, spinach, cauliflower, diced tomatoes, cinnamon, cardamom, garam masala, cayenne pepper

Now, you're probably saying, "What the HELL is wrong with Kenny?" and you're right, the food is amazing.. I just don't like it.

Swordfish.. I _rarely_ eat seafood. I didn't eat it growing up so I never developed a taste for it. In recent memory I tried to eat some fish and got food poisoning. I know it has nothing to do with all fish, I just was unlucky. However, it makes me less adventurous and when you are already lacking in the Food Adventure department it's not a good combo.

As for the curry, I'd probably go for it, but coconut is a foul, foul thing. I'll probably make myself a sandwich at the sandwich bar. *shrug*

Ah well, it's my own damn fault.
