We had our first Google Santa Monica "Offsite" yesterday. Basically a party during work hours for fun/stress relief/employee bonding/etc. In the morning we all hopped on a boat headed to Catalina Island just off of coast.

We got neat little goodie bags that included Google Hats, Google Beach Towels, Google Flip Flops, bottled water, a Luna power bar, and tiiiiinnnnnny little water guns. :)

Outside of the times when a few people got sick on the ride to the island, we had a great time. We played a little volleyball in the sand... we had some good food/BBQ and drinks... After that people all split up into smaller groups for different activities. I went with others and played some golf. Some went snorkeling, others kiyaking and some just shopped! :)

A good time was had by all. Thankfully, while my sunburn from Sunday is still tender, it didn't inhibit me too much.

... and tonight, I actually get to go play games with Ken and Shelley! WOO! It feels like it's been years since I did that.
