2008-03-25 10:23 AM WoW Silliness! Outside of my real life friends, I mostly play WoW with people in my surrogate raiding guild <Fortune>. For a little fun, one of the cool peeps in Fortune set up "March Madness WoW Style" which is a silly dueling tournament. No magic allowed, only auto attacks. The only weapons allowed are Fish, Bouquets of Flowers, Beer Steins, Training Swords of the Boar and anything else that a level 1 character can equip. It's all about shameless silliness and amusement. I capped a video of my duel and made my first edited movie with iMovie!
You can also see the high quality version here, it takes about 6-7 minutes to download. Johl is clad in Santa Gear with a Mining Pick enchanted with Crusader. :) Lurai is wearing her guild tabard and wielding a Brewfest Beer Stein. The iMovie editing process was fairly easy once I got a handle on the conventions the app uses, but exporting it was a nightmare. The built-in exporting options would make a tiny 300 pixel wide movie or a gigantic 660MB monster. I had to go through a bunch of trial and error and expert settings to get something of a reasonable size. The smallest I was able to get it without it being stupidly small was 96 MB. That makes it small enough to post on Google Video though! Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
