Is email THAT hard? Is it really THAT hard to know your email address?

I plugged in my iPhone today to sync it with iTunes and it wanted me to login to the iTunes store. It assumed that my iTunes username was my email address and asked me for the password. My password didn't work, so I clicked the "Forgot Password?" link. It offered me the option to have an email sent to reset my password or just to answer some security questions online. I chose to answer the questions... but it told me my answers were wrong. Odd.... so I backed up and told it to send me an email instead. I got the email, clicked the link and it took me to a page to reset my password. I reset it and then it took me to my account information.... and it wasn't me. It was someone named Kristen. *sigh*

Dude, seriously, what the fuck? How the hell does someone sign up with iTunes using MY email address? Are any of you confused about your email address? I doubt it!

How fucking hard is this? *sigh*
