I've had the idea for this rattling around in my brain for... well.. years, I think.

Over the last few days, I've set up a simple system that involves a database of Acupuncture Points and their functions. Every x number of minutes, the system fetches a random point from the database and sends a text message to my phone with the point name and its functions so that I can review the material. I'm planning on adding formulae and herbs as well and the acupoint system is still just a working skeleton, but at least I've got something working.

I have been noticing that as soon as I leave class that I don't even think about that class again until the next week. This isn't good. Several of the classes I'm taking are tough ones and require some study. I'm hoping this will keep me in the class brain space throughout the week and help me absorb the information through repetition.
