To Debate or Not to Debate? That's a stupid question.

As McCain slides in the polls every single day, he's grasping at straws. He said the economy was strong, when everyone could tell it wasn't. He said that he wants to regulate the financial industry, even though he has been deregulating it for more than a decade. He said he wants to deregulate the Health Care industry because it worked so well for Investment Banks, which we can all see was wrong. He tried to blame Barack Obama for the financial crisis, which we all know is ridiculous. Sarah Palin is hiding from the Press and we know it's because she can handle unprepared questions. Palin tried to get photo-ops with foreign Heads of State without letting any reporters in and the Press told her to screw off.

McCain is desperately trying to look like he's doing something to fix the economy.. and so his next bit of theatre begins:

McCain wants to postpone Friday's Presidential Debate and stop all campaigning so he can focus his attention on the bailout. Of course, he wants to stop Obama from campaigning! Obama is CRUSHING him on the topic of the economy, which is the most important thing on people's minds.

What was Obama's response?

Obama rejects McCain call to delay debate...

Obama said in a news conference in Clearwater, Fla. "It's going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once."

Damn right.

No, McCain, you can't run away from the problem. The President needs to be able to handle an economic crisis, a foreign war, domestic security... AND not just handle the emergencies, the President needs to make forward progress as well and improve our country.

This farce isn't about taking care of the economy, he's trying to distract voters. Don't let him use you. Don't let him manipulate you. Look at his actions now and in the past. Look at his words now and in the past. See the hypocrisy, see the manipulative theatre and don't let him get away with it.
