Sufjan Stevens In the tower above the earth, There is a view that reaches far Where we see the universe, I see the fire, I see the end. Seven miles above the earth, There is Emmanuel of mothers. With his sward, with his robe, He comes dividing man from brothers. In the tower above the earth, we built it for Emmanuel. In the powers of the earth, we wait until it rips and rips. In the tower above the earth, we built it for Emmanuel. Oh my mother, she betrayed us, but my father loved and bathed us. Still I go to the deepest grave, Where I go to sleep alone. Exactly one year ago I created this journal. Many ups, many downs, in and out of it. To give this journal a new life, I decided to change the layout and take it to a more rational, critic side of blogging. I do know that willpower is not really my best, though. Recent example is how I interrupted The High Paradise series in the middle. Which makes my interrupted series grow to three - Tales from the Broken Soul with two editions and Maktub Pieces, with three I think. But it is recorded anyway. I have been travelling since early december and now I am in BrasÃlia with my dad, yet again. So things aren't very balanced. Specially because internet has collapsed again back in Rio (although I am almost 100% sure that the problem is the computer, not the net company). Last year, fascinated by Mojave 3's song My Life in Art, I started the journal based on its lyrics and such things. Now, just to keep the tradition, I begin the second year of this journal with another awesome song: The Seer's Tower, by Sufjan Stevens. Besides the layout changes, I re-arranged the links on the left and added two new ones: Logical Reality, which I recommend, and my 2006's cult list, which I plan to update frequently, as well as this page. I am going to allow comments from now on. Even though I am quite sure only a few people read my journal often (and not very often because I tend to go away for a while, which I will try not to let it happen again), I plan to expose ideas that could cause a good discussion. So that's it for now. Congratulations to my journal. One year standing my insanity. May this new year bring more entries (it's unacceptable to get older and write less) and good discussions.
