Today seems eerily like last Monday. I went to breakfast with Greg, taught astronomy classes, graded labs. But now there is this sense of foreboding. What might tomorrow bring?

A student of mine was upset today because campus security bothered one of her friends in the library. The friend is of Indian descent. I hope she complains to campus police as I encouraged her to do. The existance of awful people in the world does not mean we can stand by watching while basic civil rights are being violated.
