Our friends, Brian and Amy, came to visit us this weekend. I always find it interesting how having friends visit makes you go to the "touristy" places in your own backyard. Pioneer Living History Museum - underfunded and not too interesting. Taliesin West - way cool. It was great to sit in a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed chair in a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed room and contrast it to my nice, but completely conservative and ordinary apartment. I want a room with irregular hexagonal walls so that it has great acoustics, too!

Having guests also meant we went to Gameworks. How many times can I play "Racer" and "Star Wars Arcade"? The answer is - a whole lot! My skills are pathetic, but it's fun!

I was also out late enough to have my first Orion, Pleiades, Jupiter, and Saturn sightings of the fall. Pretty!
