Every now and then, I come across a funny typo while grading astronomy labs. However, one typo occurs so frequently that, instead of being funny, I find it disturbing.

Did you know that there are creators on the Moon?

I always thought that there were craters on the Moon. You know, indentations in the surface made by impacts. But every semester, I discover that many students believe in creators on the Moon. Well, at least we know who made the glass buildings on the far side now.
