My vacation is over. It was lovely. I enjoyed my time off very much. I wish I was still on vacation. However, I returned to work today. Work isn't bad. Home is just better.

Although I like having time off, 3-day weekends are my bane this semester. We have two Mondays off - MLK Jr day and President's Day. I teach labs on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Those other days don't have extra days off. Crafting a fair and equitable lab schedule is a pain in the ass with these 3-day weekends. I think that some 3-day weekends should be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Anyone agree with me?
