My first baby doll was named Campie. I still have Campie. Most of the stuffing has fallen out of his cloth body, so he's pretty much a plastic head with a sack attached.

Now, you might be wondering, "Why did she decide it was a boy baby?" Well, I was born in the early 1970s when the Oakland A's were in their heyday, and I named my doll after Dagoberto Campaneris, a member of the Oakland Athletics.

Just goes to show that I could play with dolls and still manage not to be girlie.
