I'm waiting for Excedrin to work its magic so that I can start grading the last batch of final exams. Whoever thought to schedule finals on Thursday afternoons and still demand all grades by 12 noon on Friday is evil and should be eradicated.

One more day...just one more day.

At least there should be a lovely lunar eclipse tonight.

Finals haven't been all bad. One of my students brought enough doughnuts for the entire class to the exam today. Another thanked me for teaching her cool astronomy stuff to share with her young daughter. And I just got the following email:

Thanks for making the last two semesters fun and educational. I think that you do a great job of balancing your lectures with informative and interesting information. Keep doing what you're doing because it is working.

Alright, I think I can get back to grading now.
