This last weekend I willingly chose to do yardwork around my duplex. It was such a cool experience. A couple friends came up and we knocked it out, clearing all the weeds and mess from the backyard.

I have several ideas of what I want to do back there now that it is cleared. The most positive idea I have is to grow a small garden back there. There is a perfect part of the yard for this.

I know it would take a lot of work and potentially money at the upstart, but it would feel good to be doing something truly green. Besides, I would be a backyard farmer like my grandpa was.

Now I just need to figure a few things out.
