Care for your trash by separating it.

Reuse what can be reused (you can even get creative with it). Recycle what you can (this includes composting).

This does not mean you should dig through your trash can! This means to think about where to put things before they end up in the trash.

When you spend just the tiniest bit of your time thinking about where things end up, it will help you to make more conscious and compassionate choices about what you are consuming.

After all, if you are what you eat, you are also what you throw away.
