Things have been just plain wild around here for the past week. Mostly it all revolves around the trip to Tucson.

We're leaving this afternoon, toddler and Grandma in tow, to spend two lovely weeks in the sun. Ordinarily we go in March, but that just didn't work out. The cool thing is we'll be there over Cinco de Mayo, even though the parties will be pretty tame since the holiday is on a Wednesday this year.

Lots of swimming, resting, writing and fun is planned.

What does it mean when you go on vacation and get excited because it may give you some extra writing time? It may mean it's a hobby or even an advocation. If I were a professional, I'd be taking advantage of the opportunity not to write for two weeks.

In any event, don't expect to hear from me for two weeks, though it's possible I'll find access to a computer and a net connection in which case I'll post something if anything noteworthy occurs.
