Whew. Feeling a bit better. Winter is home and he's currently taking a nap. He's exhausted. He's also got a handful of meds to help him cope as well as appointments with outside professionals to help moniter him. He's a little slow on the uptake, but that's no problem. I'm just concerned that he may become incredibly paranoid (like he evidently did a couple of nights ago) and we won't be able to help him. Of course, that's where the professionals come in, but we already sent him off to the professionals once and who knows how willing he'd be again? But all of this is conjecture. I hope his meds work, and I hope "the system" comes through to help him this time. We're certainly not trained to help him. We can love him and try to watch out for him, but that's all, and it's not all he needs. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
