So far this has been a decent day. I'm still fighting this stupid cold, but it's better than it was. I actually had a decent night's rest last night.

My head also cleared enough to finish the rewrite of "El Remedio", my short story I wrote last spring and have been working on rewriting this week. Honestly, I really have no idea what I'm doing. I strengthened some parts of the story, but did I weaken the whole thing by the changes and simplifications/adaptations I made? I don't know. Let's hope not. It was a magical story in a sense, but I really don't know now. I hope I didn't make it mundane. Of course, it's hard for things to be magical after you've been staring at them for a while and have a cold on top of it all :).

In any event, it's time for a nap while Avadore is down, and then time to work on some final preparations for a class I'm covering over the next couple of months for a friend who is having personal problems.

And then it's on to the next thing, because there always is a next thing, you know.
