You see, I have this bad habit of doing strange things to the missionaries.

For example, this summer they came by just after I'd showered, and I was only wearing my bathrobe, but I invited them in anyway, and there we sat -- me halfway undressed with these two (theoretically) celibate young men. I was moderately flustered about the whole thing (being as I was halfway undressed with these two young men who are out preaching religion), and so it never occurred to me to excuse myself and go change.

I have friends who still tease me about this.

At least it wasn't like this one girl I knew who answered the door without even a bathrobe when the missionaries stopped by.
